Established in 1999, ICEM - International Centre for Environmental Management is an independent technical service centre that helps governments, private sector and communities define and implement policies for ecologically sustainable development. ICEM aims to help shape development in ways that reduce poverty and sustain efficient and equitable management of natural resources. ICEM has four fields of technical expertise and services: climate change / water / biodiversity / integrated assessments

ICEM operates from offices in Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Vientiane and Melbourne and has specialists in climate change, environmental institution building and strategic planning, environmental economics, environmental assessment, biodiversity conservation, water resources management, GIS and modeling.
