Note(s)Eric comments: Another view of the empty lot, taken from the side of the Opera House, with the Hotel Continental on the right. The venerable Givral cafe previously sat on the corner, surrounded by a shopping center that was renovated and renamed Eden Plaza in 2006. A little to the right was the Xuan Thu bookstore, beyond that was the Vietnam Airlines office. Now it's all gone.
