Note(s)rustyproof comments : The Givral Restaurant and Eden Centre in Lam Son Square, Saigon, in 2003. The restaurant, across the road from the Continental Hotel, is the milk bar in Graham Greene's "The Quiet American" that Fowler's mistress Phuong regularly visits. It also features in the 2002 movie of the book. The Givral closed down in 2010 to make way for the demolition and redevelopment of the entire block.
